Tansu is a Turkish yacht builder renowned for building some of the world’s finest award-winning yachts. The shipyard was founded by Riza Tansu, who has been designing and building boats for more than two decades.
Tansu Yachts are known for taking a less is more approach, with vessels typically influenced by military ships, focusing on cruising performance and understated luxury. The Turkish superyacht builder specialises in constructing both aluminium and steel yachts, while its small production enables it to focus on delivering only the highest standard vessels.
While the shipyard initially ceased operations in 2020, in 2021, Riza Tansu announced he had signed a deal with the visionary founder of Sundeck Yachts, Angelo Casartelli, which also recently acquired the American brand, Lurhs Boats. Since the deal was inked, several yacht projects have been announced, fusing Tanzu’s legendary design with Italian flair.
