In 1906, the yard launched Giuseppina, at 22.6 metres, the largest combustion engine-powered cruising yacht ever built in Italy, as well as prototyped the world’s first hydrofoil craft.
In 2012, Baglietto shipyard was acquired by the Gavio family. The acquisition propelled a new journey for the Italian superyacht builder.
