Alloy Yachts New Zealand: a leading luxury yacht builder

Alloy Yachts’ shipyard was launched following a highly ambitious project to build a 28-metre performance sailing yacht in West Auckland, New Zealand. The sailing yacht, CHANEL, was constructed of lightweight aluminium and featured opulent interiors that required Alloy super yachts New Zealand to establish a new standard of fit and finish.

The Alloy sailing yacht CHANEL was delivered in 1985, prompting the local yacht-building team to stay together and found Alloy Yachts Ltd under the direction of Tony Hambrook.

For the next 27 years, the New Zealand shipyard has continued to expand its capacity for building larger luxury yachts. Today, the pioneering shipyard constructs sailing yachts in excess of 67 metres and motor yachts up to 47 metres in length.

Alloy Yachts is now a world-renowned South Pacific shipyard with an international reputation for luxury, seaworthiness, engineering excellence and craftsmanship.
