Passionate about old-fashioned and traditional Navigation, he joined the Cargo Merchant Navy up to Bridge/Deck Officer levels.
He came ashore to cover Safety & Security managerial roles in major Shipping Management Companies, dealing with Fleets of Tankers, Cable Layers and Special Purpose Vessels; then rising to the role of Offshore HSEQ Manager and Office`s ISO Chairman.
Stefano subsequently joined YPI as ISM & ISPS Manager, acting as DPA & CSO.
Located in the famous “Phlegraean Fields” (Bay of Naples) it was the favourite holiday resort of Roman Emperors; always praised by the greatest authors of Greek and Latine literature.
