Mike has been in the shipping industry for over 27 years and holds a UK, Dutch & Cayman Islands Master Mariner unlimited certificate of competency & has sailed on just about every type of vessel at sea, spanning a career that has taken him to the 4 corners of the globe.

He has been in the yachting sector for the past 15 years, & in which time has been in command of some of the largest yachts at sea in excess of 150m. He has been fortunate to have been to some amazing destinations, with the remote pacific islands of Nuku Hiva being a favorite.

Mike moved permanently ashore in 2021 to pursue a career in yacht management & now calls Dubai his home where he is part of YPI’s growing team of Yachting experts in the Middle East.
