40m J-Class RAINBOW is attending Les Voiles de St Tropez this week and is available for sail trials. Clients and Brokers are invited onboard from today through to Friday. To book your trial, please contact Will Bishop.
This is a rare opportunity to experience one of the newest J-Class reproductions on the market, a true contender on the regatta circuit. A flawless recreation of a 1930’s classic sailing yacht brought up to modern standards by Holland Jachtbouw, RAINBOW was developed from the original plans of the 1934 America’s Cup winner of the same name and launched in 2012.
Built to meet the J-Class Association maximum performance rules, RAINBOW offers exceptional sailing performance. With naval architecture by Dykstra, she is equipped with the latest in sail technology, including North Sails 3Di racing sales and high-speed hydraulic winches customised to the yacht’s specific requirements.
Naval architects Dykstra & Partners partnered with deVosdeVries design on the interior, in a classic turn of the century style featuring raised and fielded mahogany panelling with Art Deco detailing throughout. RAINBOW accommodates 6 guests, in an Owner’s stateroom aft and two twin guest cabins, each with a Pullman berth.
