52.3m (171.9ft) Palmer Johnson DB9 attending the 2021 Monaco Yacht Show
Yachting Partners International is delighted to announce that 52.3m (171.9ft) DB9 will be attending this year’s Monaco Yacht Show.
The first hull from Palmer Johnson’s PJ 170 SportYacht range, DB9 is the only yacht of the series to feature an open sundeck. Design for DB9 was carried out by Italian studio Nuvolari Lenard, blending a striking exterior with contemporary interiors.
Perfect for hosting an occasion, there are three separate pool areas on board DB9 and a main deck for alfresco entertainment. The spacious lounge area provides ample room for dinner parties plus a full wet bar. Follow the curved passageway to the foredeck where you’ll find a superb 8m pool with direct views of the ocean.
The stern’s infinity-edge Jacuzzi is equally enjoyable for whiling away a sunny afternoon, and there’s an open-air cinema on the sundeck for watching movies under the stars. Other standout amenities include a generous selection of water toys that can be easily accessed via the aft deck.
The yacht can reach a top speed of 32.5 knots, though there’s the option to cruise comfortably at 17 knots as a more economical option. DB9 also has zero-speed anchor stabilisers.
Of particular note is that she is the only Palmer Johnson to be built in Europe, therefore avoiding the punitive 25% import duty that is payable on all USA built vessels.
