73.6m NAIA wins ACrew Awards

Yachting Partners International is delighted to announce that 73.6m (241.5ft) NAIA has been awarded the 2021 ACrew awards for Best Chief Officer for Ashley Stranger and Best Duty of Care for NAIA.

The Crew Awards were developed to reward the most exceptional crews out there who have proven themselves to be the very best at their jobs. Captain Alex Whitty was previously awarded the 2019 ACrew Award for demonstrating excellent management skills of a large crew and communicating effectively on all levels with contractors, crew, owners, and guests. NAIA’s recent accolades celebrate the crew’s fantastic managerial qualities, ensuring the safety and wellbeing of others on board.

Best Chief Officer for Ashley Stranger

This award recognises a combination of great managerial qualities with the exterior crew as well as maintaining the control and safety of the yacht.

Best Duty of Care for NAIA

Awarded to those who have successfully ensured the safety and wellbeing of others.

Huge congratulations to NAIA’s rotational Captains Alex Whitty and Meno Koerner, the exterior and onboard crew and all involved for all their hard work and dedication.

NAIA has charter availability in Antarctica and Patagonia this winter season. There is plenty of scope to curate a bespoke itinerary tailored to the charterer’s tastes. A typical itinerary in Antarctica on board NAIA could range from exploring the spectacular Gerlache strait and Lemaire channel to observing the exceptional wildlife which is truly a sight to behold in person. Or experience the extreme by embarking on a journey to the ends of the earth in Patagonia, passing fringed glaciers and dozens of fjords along the way.
