The best Mediterranean's golf courses to visit during your superyacht charter

With the golfing season almost upon us, it's time to dust off your clubs, polish your tees and get ready to show off your swing on one of the Mediterranean's finest courses. Superyacht marinas are set in some of the most beautiful locations, not far from some of the best and most challenging golf courses. From the historic Monte-Carlo Golf Club to Golf Club Castelfalfi nestled in the Tuscan hills, there are plenty of courses to choose from. Here is a round up of our favourite Mediterranean courses.

Monte Carlo golf club

Monte-Carlo Golf Club, South of France

Overlooking the Principality of Monaco and positioned 900 metres above sea level, the Monte-Carlo Golf Club offers players a variety of technical holes and spectacular views over the water and Cote d’Azur coastline. The clubhouse looks out onto the course and provides a luxurious space to relax and enjoy alfresco dining following an action-packed afternoon on the green.

Golf Course Adriatic, Croatia

The Golf Course Adriatic is a championship course with 18 holes. The course is spread over 80 acres and characterised by an interesting layout and shape that is challenging for players of all skill levels. The five different tee positions of each hole blend seamlessly into the landscape, shaped by the rocks, natural ponds and evergreen vegetation which is typical of the Mediterranean region. The clubhouse offers a modern golf bar, providing a tranquil environment to enjoy the views of the green and relax with a cocktail. The 27 hole layout is divided into two spectacular courses. The Mountain Course is among the most difficult in Italy. It is a championship course with high technical content thanks to its steep slopes. Appreciated by more experience players, its layout offers enchanting panoramic views over the Castle of Castelfalfi. The Lake Course is a shorter and more open course, with a charming and fun layout suitable for golfers of all levels.
