Revolutionary 43.6m yacht SILVER WIND is fitted with a hybrid propulsion system specially developed for the yacht by Siemens and her shipyard ISA. Onboard, two diesel generators supply power to the electric units, minimising fuel consumption, noise, emissions and maintenance. The yacht can also operate in electric mode with a total fuel consumption of 90 l/h (range 2,600nm). Her top speed is an impressive 32 knots.
The only phinisi built to conform to the strict RINA class environmental regulations, LAMIMA is the setting for incredible experiences in the protected off-the-beaten-path waters of Indonesia, including Komodo and Raja Ampat. LAMIMA uses a low-emission engine and generators, efficient onboard waste management and a streamlined performance profile offering very low fuel consumption. Even the onboard experience is based around the environment: for beach barbecues, the crew decorates the beach using only all-natural local materials, driftwood, rocks, coconut and palm tree leaves.
