Peter Thompson joins YPI

Yachting Partners International has announced the appointment of Peter Thompson as Managing Partner - Yacht Sales (Global).

Peter joins YPI from Thompson, Westwood & White Yachts, a Monaco based yachting house that he co-founded in 2016. During this time the business achieved phenomenal growth through his impressive sales record, including: 72m Honor (now Quantum of Solace), 69m Spectre, 65m Double Down, 52m Aura (now DB9) and many more. Prior to this, Peter was New Build Director at Ocean Independence and over the course of his years in brokerage sold over 50 yachts predominantly 45m and upwards.

With a career spanning four decades across yacht sales, corporate management and as a Superyacht Captain, where his final command was the 70m Reverie (now Freedom), his experience is unrivalled. Peter has circumnavigated the globe many times as Captain and is a respected industry figurehead in building and managing superyacht portfolios.
