Meet your yacht’s captain at Nuuk Airport for a van transfer to the yacht, which will be waiting just outside the Nuup Kangerlua Fjord, the longest fjord on Greenland’s Labrador Sea coast and one of the longest in the inhabited part of the country. Settle in onboard, explore the yacht and relax with welcome drinks and dinner.

The world's most northern capital

Spend your first full day onboard exploring the capital of Greenland, the world’s northernmost capital city situated at 64°10’ N. Impressively situated at the end of the Nuup Kangerlua Fjord, Nuuk offers experiences not found anywhere else in Greenland, including the Greenland National Museum, Greenland’s largest microbrewery and the Nuuk Art Museum, a fascinating insight into Inuit culture.

Venice of Greenland

Located in an archipelago among a maze of small, naturally formed canals, Maniitsoq is known by locals as the Venice of Greenland. Go angling with a local guide in the two rivers to the south, which are teeming with Arctic charr. Head out on the tender to spot pods of visiting humpback whales.

Heliskiing adventures

An hour’s cruise from Maniitsoq, Kangaamiut is an island off the coast of Davis Strait. Perched between the Kangerlussuatsiaq and Kangaamiut Fjords, this is an ideal stop for heliskiing, with a huge range of glacial runs descending to stunning fjords. Jump into the chopper and enjoy the once-in-a-lifetime experience of descending down deserted white slopes 2000m to the edge of the inky sea.

Kayak discovery

Kayaking in Aasiaat, at the mouth of Disko Bay, is an experience like no other. Join a local guide for a personalised trip. During the summer months, spot at the mouth of Disko Bay, spot humpback and minke whales, plus bowheads and even blue whales playing in these waters. From May to July, this is an excellent spot to experience the surreal midnight sun from the decks of your yacht.

Whale expeditions and dog sleds

Enjoy a day of fun in the Disko Bay area. Go on a whale safari surrounded by icebergs to spot humpback and minkes. Take to the skies on a helicopter tour through the skies to see the full splendour of the icy seascape below, filled with calving glaciers drifting through blue waters. Snow-permitting, journey to the top of the Lyngmark Glacier for dog sledding. Heliski surrounded by stunning landscapes.

Safari by snowmobile

A tiny but friendly community situated 500 kilometres above the Arctic Circle, Ukkusissat is surrounded by impressive mountains and imposing icy waters. Meet the locals to discover the traditions and daily rituals of this unusual settlement. Go on a snowmobile tour over the ice field. Take a dog sledding safari. Jump onboard a helicopter for a bird’s eye view. Return to the yacht for a dinner of freshly caught seafood.
